''Defying Gravity'', Olah Dragana, 2026

€0.00

‘‘Defying Gravity explores motion as a dimensional language - a way energy communicates its freedom from fixed orientation. Through layered patterning, rhythmic repetition and directional flow, the piece envisions gravity not as limitation, but as a negotiable force within a larger cosmic choreography. It reflects the series’ ongoing inquiry into how unseen structures - vibrational fields, energetic pathways and relational forces - shape our experience of space, movement and becoming.’’

Medium : Felt on Canvas , Wood

Dimensions : 19.7x15.7 in / 50x40 cm

Olah Dragana is a Hungarian artist whose journey reflects both resilience and quiet determination. With an educational background in Fine Arts and Art & Design, creativity has long been central to her identity - even during the years when art lived at the margins of a busy life. While raising children and working full-time in the education sector, she continually returned to making art whenever time allowed, nurturing a practice that remained steady beneath the surface.

At 54, Dragana made a decisive and courageous shift. She stepped away from her career, relocated with her partner and their animals to a remote corner of the country, and committed wholeheartedly to her creative path. Since then, she has pursued her work with devotion and intensity, embracing this chapter as both a personal and artistic awakening. Rooted in lived experience and shaped by perseverance, her practice stands as a testament to the power of returning - fully and fearlessly - to one’s true calling.
