“Decode” is a surreal visual meditation on the complexity of perception, inner chaos, and the symbolic language of the universe.
A faceless figure covers their head with multiplied hands - a gesture of overwhelm, intuition, and resistance all at once. From this obscured consciousness bursts an imaginative explosion of natural and symbolic forms: moons and vines, spiraling plants and golden combs, jellyfish and koi fish, lotuses, bees, and a pink feline leaping across space.

In her work, Oksana Alekhina explores the idea of inner freedom, creating naïve, fairy-tale worlds layered with hidden meaning. Her heroines - often depicted with closed eyes - suggest open inner universes, turning away from the noise of the external world in order to hear their own voice and preserve their individuality. Through vivid symbols and fragments that resemble pieces of personal puzzles, she constructs visual narratives about choice, illusion, and the delicate balance between reality and the inner world. Drawing on her background in interior design, Alekhina brings bold color and expressive accents into her paintings, creating works that live naturally within contemporary spaces while conveying meaning in a playful, almost cartoon-like language that feels both light and profound.
