THE WAIT, Salva Nebot, 2026

€0.00

‘‘In The Wait, I approach the image as a space of waiting and temporal suspension - a place where time comes to a halt without any promise of resolution. The composition is articulated through vertical planes that evoke a contained, uninhabited urban architecture, constructing a silent and stable setting.

A horizontal band breaks in as a minimal gesture of tension. Red does not activate movement nor indicate a possible direction; it remains still, functioning as a cut, a threshold that cannot be crossed and that interrupts visual continuity.

The void I propose is not a total absence, but a space charged with latency and expectation. The work offers an experience of conscious immobility, in which the viewer is confronted with time that does not advance and with an urban space that retains its symbolic and emotional density.’’

The works are printed on 310 g Museum RAG Photo Etching paper, 100% cotton, acid-free and free of optical brighteners. Each piece is hand-signed and numbered and comes with its certificate of authenticity.

Medium : Digital on Paper

Dimensions : 31.5x23.6 in | 80×60 cm

Salva Nebot is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice lies between photography and ceramic sculpture, developed through ongoing research into image, matter, and memory. His work approaches the image as both object and sensitive surface, where light, texture, and structure generate relationships between physical presence and perception.

In photography, he explores experimental processes based on the control of light, contrast, and visual fragmentation. In ceramic sculpture, he translates these same principles into the three-dimensional realm, understanding material as a carrier of trace, time, and transformation.

Throughout his career, he has participated in international biennials such as the 2ème Biennale Internationale de l’Art Contemporain de Casablanca and the Schlachten Contemporary Arts Festival in Germany, as well as Spanish art fairs and international exhibitions in Paris, Pisa, Morocco, Switzerland, Dubai, and Germany, consolidating a coherent body of work in continuous evolution.
