Taras Yoom (born as Taras Zheltyshev) is a multidisciplinary artist, author of the Yoomoota - a whole universe at the intersection of art and design, full of its own various planets, inhabitants and many more. They’re shown in a wide diversity and versatility, but most importantly: they represent us.

The Yoomoota’s artworks span collectible sculptures, furniture with biomorphic forms, paintings and mixed media pieces. From an obsession for medical and scientific studies, the artist applies a constant flow of knowledge to his works presenting a deep understanding of biology and nature. His Bangkok-based workshop is an experimental space where various techniques and genres converge to investigate the vast realm of physical phenomena and socially relevant subjects. The artist’s technique allows accurate transformation of fantastic images into real works of art that will take their rightful place in any collection. Every character has a legend and deep meaning.
